As a kid I always wanted to draw on cars. But I wasn’t allowed to. So four years ago we painted our silver grey car with a slightly darker blackboard paint.

At first we didn’t really know what to draw on it

So we drew shapes and colours on it

One day we decided that the best things to draw on cars are monsters.

Raargh! An monster eating a monster that’s eating the back light

Moar monsters!

One weekend with good friends we colorised the whole car. Filled with colourful monsters

Happy kids who, of course, now understand that you can draw on cars, despite what grown ups may say

I gave my students the assignment to draw on it

Later we found out that my kid has an incredible talent for drawing monsters.

Some of them are so good that I want them on t‑shirts.
Other people want these t‑shirts as well, so you can buy them on my kid’s Monster T‑shirt Shop.

A angry fish that doesn’t like holidays

Having to wait one hour for the boat on Texel was fun.

My kid drew some crazy monsters.

We’ve had tons and tons of fun with it.
Recently the passenger seat sank through the floor though.

Our car, on a truck on its way to demolition
Bye bye car, thanks for the fun.
