The Master Musicians of Jajouka

Thirty years ago I used to spend summers at my uncle’s house in Thessaloniki. He has a large collection of very diverse music. In this collection was a cassette with the incredibly raw and complex yet so funky music by The Master Musicians of Jajouka. Yesterday I finally saw them. Brilliant.
