A thick piece of glass, at least 26 layers, with on each layer a word. The sentence, in Dutch, reads: Aardmannetjes bewonen catacomben. Daar eten feeksen griezelige heksen! Inderdaad, jankende kwelgeesten lepelen mechanisch nurks op platen!! Quatschbeesten roosteren slinkse trollen uit!!! Vreselijk wraaklustige xylolatrische yzervreters zieden!!!!

Alphabetical art

I visited my parents today and took a picture of this alphabetical art work I made in the 90s. I painted a photosensitive emulsion onto each glass plate, let it dry in a light tight dry rack I made for this purpose, and then precisely burnt each word onto the next plate in my photographic dark room. I wrote the little story myself. It’s about earthmen, freaky bitches who eat witches, howling goblins who mechanically eat nurks, nonsensical animals who put evil trolls on their bbq, and horrible revengeful xylolatrical iron eaters. But then neatly told in alphabetical order.
