A thing with black, white and red images

In this object there are over twenty thousand very colourful images. It shows one of them every 15 minutes, at random. In order to show these colourful images on this e-paper display, I wrote a script that transforms them into black, white and red images. Every night more colourful images are generated on my server. This has been an ongoing project for over ten years now. It started as a slow way of learning about colours. I learned much more from them along the way.
