Love Letters by the Alphabettes

I’m a bit behind with my RSS-feeds so it’s only now that I stumbled upon the wonderful Love Letters on the ever brilliant typography website Alphabettes. I read about the things you can find out about your great great great grandparents by reading these beautiful Greek notaries. I learned a thing or two about languages I know nothing about, like Hebrew and Chinese. Such an inspiring series, you should really take your time to read them all.

Every now and then my kid and me walk around the neighborhood to collect little pieces of garbage that we like. These can be little pieces of metal, or pieces of plastic that we think we can use to build things with. Like robots. My wife thinks we’re crazy. But I’m happy to see that we’re not the only people who like garbage. Me and my kid really enjoyed reading this love letter to garbage that looks like letters. Next time we walk around town, apart for looking for body parts for robots, we will be looking for letters as well. Such a nice idea.
